Every service at Bella’s Beauty Bar is performed one-on-one by Tina Pham in a private studio suite at 701 Metairie Road in Metairie. The menu is intentionally focused, so each appointment gets full attention from start to finish. Below is an overview of what is offered. Manicures

A manicure is the foundation of healthy, good-looking hands. A typical appointment includes shaping the nails to the length and shape you want, gentle cuticle care, buffing and a polished finish. Pedicures

A pedicure keeps your feet comfortable and sandal-ready, which matters in a city where open-toe shoes are worn for much of the year. Services generally include a soak, nail trimming and shaping, cuticle care, smoothing of rough skin and polish. Nail art is a specialty at Bella’s Beauty Bar. Designs can be as simple as a single accent nail or as detailed as a full hand-painted set. Bring photos of designs you love, colors from an outfit, or a theme like Mardi Gras, a Saints game day or a holiday, and Tina will help you turn it into a design that fits your nail length and lifestyle. Waxing

Waxing removes hair from the root, so results usually last longer than shaving. Commonly waxed areas include brows, lip and chin, underarms, arms and legs; the booking page lists the waxing services currently available. For the cleanest results, hair should be roughly a quarter inch long, and you should pause retinol and exfoliating acids on the area for several days beforehand. Lash extensions

Lash extensions are individual synthetic lashes attached to your natural lashes one at a time, so you wake up with defined lashes without mascara. Styles range from a soft, natural classic look to fuller volume. A full set takes longer than a fill, and most people return for a fill every two to three weeks as natural lashes shed. Brows and semi-permanent makeup

Brow shaping helps frame the face, and semi-permanent makeup offers longer-lasting definition for people who want to spend less time on daily makeup. Because semi-permanent makeup involves pigment placed in the skin, it starts with a conversation about your goals, your skin and any health considerations, and it includes a healing period and usually a follow-up visit.
